The Loquat is a medium sized tree with an evergreen canopy that will grow almost anywhere. Grafted trees have bigger fruit with more flesh and smaller seeds.

The bright yellow fruits are juicy and delicious and the tree starts fruiting from an early age. Loquat fruits are among the first to ripen in the new season, about November. The canopy is full of dense large leaves that provide excellent summer shade and shelter. It is a trouble free tree.
