In 1978, Chris and Diana envisioned creating a nursery dedicated to providing Adelaide with top-quality fruit and nut trees. Over the years, Chris’s passion and expertise have made him a well-known figure in everything tree-related, turning their dream into a trusted local resource.
Fast forward to 2025, and Ben and Hana have taken over the business, bringing their experience in developing thriving food forests based on permaculture principles. While they lead the company into the future, Chris will remain involved as a consultant, ensuring that his decades of knowledge and passion continue to guide us.

Bare Roots are Best
Our care and expertise ensure that your trees grow well and yield a tasty and productive crop.
Bare rooted trees are are easier to plant and their roots establish faster. This makes them more drought hardy in that first summer.
We use tried and tested methods to keep our bare root trees in best condition. The dormant trees sleep in a bed of compost where their roots stay cool and moist. We check the roots regularly for optimum health. The trees are sprayed with copper to reduce the chance of disease.
Note: bare rooted trees can only be planted in the winter.
