Kiwiberry are much easier to grow than Kiwifruit. This because they are self pollinating and don’t require careful pruning. They can be grown as a rambling hedge against a wall or fence ot trellised like a passionfruit. The fruit ripen in March and April, are the size of a very large grape, are delicious and can be eaten skin and all. They have no fuzz. It is a deciduous plant so can withstand significant frost making it ideal for the Hills. It is best planted in winter when it is dormant and can fruit in the first year.
